Unidas, WFSA’s award-winning after-school program for young women aged 14-18 years old, is accepting grant applications now through April 1, 2021 at 12 noon. This semester, the teen philanthropists have decided to focus their giving on organizations serving LGBTQ+ folks.
Is your organization a 501(c)(3) organization in good standing in Southern Arizona? Do you serve the needs of the LGBTQ+ community? If so, we encourage you to apply for the $5,000 Unidas spring grant.
This spring, we also welcome Buffalo Exchange to the Unidas family! Buffalo Exchange, the women-owned nationwide resale fashion chain that was founded in Tucson, has committed to sponsor the $5,000 grant award each spring. The application timeline:
- March 1: Grant applications opened
- April 1 at noon: Grant applications close
- April 1-15: Grant applications are reviewed
- April 22-29: Finalists are selected
- May 6: Grant award notifications
