New $75,000 Initiative Announced
Call for Proposals Now Open – focused on Santa Cruz County
The Women’s Foundation of Southern Arizona and University of Arizona Health Sciences are pleased to announce a new $75,000 Women’s Health Initiative to impact women’s health in border communities.
The collaborative goals of this initiative focus on the needs of border communities to reduce health disparities and facilitate community-led interventions that impact health in sustainable ways.

The University of Arizona Health Science, as a statewide resource for the dissemination of innovative solutions to Arizona’s vexing health challenges, is looking to community partners to help implement women’s health initiatives in targeted geographic areas and geared to meeting the needs of traditionally under-served populations, such as Latina women with children and/or elderly women.
