Every $1 invested creates $6.62 for women in So AZ
In April, the Women’s Foundation released our 2018 WFSA Impact Report, quantifying how we are making measurable changes in the lives of women and their families.
In 2017, through our grantmaking program, WFSA invested over $700,000 that helped 9,286 women and girls increase their income and assets by $4.6 million through higher wages, decreased debt and increased savings.
As a result of WFSA’s new outcomes measures initiative, every $1 invested creates $6.62 for women in Southern Arizona.
Donors make our mission possible, and we are so thankful to the generous individuals, companies and foundations who support the Women’s Foundation. With your gifts, WFSA and our partners are measurably increasing women’s income and assets.
- The tangible outcomes of WFSA’s grantmaking include:
- $2.5 million in increased income for women;
- nearly $1 million in reduced debt;
- housing for 258 women;
- employment secured for 233 women.
Annual grant awards from the WFSA provide more than funding. WFSA offers our grantee partners the opportunity to work year-round with a ph.D.-level program evaluation consultant to strengthen metrics and outcome measures. The 2017-2018 WFSA Impact Report reflects the collective impact of our grantee partners, and we thank our partner organizations for the difference they make for women and their families.
