I have lived in Tucson all of my 38 years. I am a mother of six, two of which are biological sons, and I have adopted three nephews and a niece over the past 12 years. I have a lot of retail management experience and am currently working part time and going to school full time. I will graduate this December with a B.A. in Community Advocacy and Social Policy, and I look forward to using my degree to work with and advocate for families like my own. I am part of Cenpatico’s Foster/Adopt Advisory Council which helps to remove barriers to accessing behavioral health services. I also sit on the board of Seeds Community Center, a local nonprofit serving kinship families (family members caring for other family members’ kids). I love to take road trips, go camping, and spend time with family.
