Volunteer
Volunteering with the Women’s Foundation of Southern Arizona is a very rewarding experience. As a WFSA volunteer, you’ll work with outstanding people who care about the health and well-being of women and girls in our community. And to tell the truth, whether we’re reviewing grants, providing financial expertise, doing clerical duties or setting up an event, we’re usually having quite a bit of fun.
We have committees that focus on development and marketing, finance, grants allocation and events. Each committee is made up of both board members and community volunteers. Committees usually meet once a month for about an hour. They are scheduled at a time convenient to all committee members. Committee participation can be an avenue for board membership as well.
High-school age women may be interested in joining the Unidas program.
If you have special skills or experience you’d like to contribute or have other ways in which you’d like to participate, we’d love to hear your ideas.
If you’re willing to recruit and coordinate other volunteers, we’d love to hear from you, too.
