Reverend Diamond Pate, a supporter of Jaramillo’s nomination, shared that her lived experience and vision of inclusion shape the work at Arizona Justice For Our Neighbors. “In everything she does, [Alba] is pushing us to make room for every voice, every person, especially women and girls. She is one of the most hardworking people I know with the biggest heart full of compassion and justice.”

“It is clear that Alba is a champion for women and girls and a dedicated professional striving for equity. It is an honor to select her for this award,” said Dr. Amalia Luxardo, WFSA CEO.
